Don't waste your money!! These generic OBD-II scanners have very limited access to the TD5 engine ECU and will not reset 3 amigo's.
I have just sold a Kiwi Wifi interface after giving a 1 day run on my 2000 Disco TD5.
Using Rev Lite to check what I could access I found I could only see the PID's for:
- Speed
- RPM
- Throttle Position
- Engine Load
This is a limitation of the TD5 OBD-II implementation and you won't get anything more detailed from a generic scanner like the Go-Point. You definitely won't be able to reset 3 Amigos. You should be able to read and clear engine DTC's.
My advice is save your money and buy something like a Hawkeye or Nanocom (whenever BBS finally decide to start selling them again)

Thanks for your input Offtrack.
I have read that BBS is working on nanocom evo II but has not announced when they will be ready. I hope not too much longer as 3 amigos started to annoy me again after they have gone for months.

Surely there is a Nanocom owner somewhere near you who will clear the amigos in exchange for a bit of a chin-wag? At least to get you by until the Evo comes back on the market ?

I guess we go back to waiting for the MaƱanacom EVO to eventually make it to market.
