Hitachi mmp 501

So I buy off ebay the Hitachi mmp 501

So I can use it for a revering camera, bluetooth and it has a sat nav as well

The mapping used to be supported by Destinator, but as Hitachi dropped the unit - Destinator stopped supporting map upgrades (since 2007)

Can anybody help as to how I may install map software?

Depends what operating system it runs, where it runs the software from (internal or external memory), and whether you can edit the path it runs the software from.

It runs windows mobile ce

The maps are internal, but there is a SD slot, which I may be able run from

Same problem here, have had MMP501 for some years and can not find any answers to updating maps. Hitachi is no help, very disappointed in them. If any one has copies of maps or software updates I would appreciate getting these, beg steal or borrow as I can't get answers from Phoenix (destinator) either. Appears no support is available so any help is appreciayed.
