Hi all,
I am in the very early stages of planning a family tour to Alice Springs, Ayers Rock (Uluru) and such.
It must have been done before but I am buggered if I can find a thread that is close.
Basically plan to head west from Bris, end up in Alice via the rock and complete an arc ending in Rocky.
The goal is to show my teen boys some of this great country.:D
Maybe 2-3 weeks and the plan is to predominately tour/soft offroad with some off the beaten track stuff interspersed, camping in our trailer.
I'll do all the planning required but was hoping to find a thread by some well travelled folk which gave hints or tips and maybe some must see / do spots.
Mods, feel free to move the post as I don't intend for it to be a 'trip planning post' in the general forum.
