Are these Hi-Lift accessories any good?

Hey all,

Just bought a Hi-Lift on sale for $99. Looks pretty decent.
My D2 doesn't have a bullbar or metal rear bar of any sort so I was going to grab some wheel straps for it as well. Any thoughts? I have 16" factory alloys on the D2.

Also there's a Hi-Lift bracket I quite like that mounts on the rear wheel carrier. Too much weight? I'd love to have the jack mounted there rather than on the roof racks. Trying to keep weight down on the roof. Already have enough going up there.

I inquired about a similar 'universal mount' last year, and it didn't suit Land Rover stud patterns. So worth getting that confirmed before you bid.

I enquired from the same seller a few months ago.
Here is the reply:-
Distance between the holes is 125mm but the holes are oval shaped and at the outer are 150mm apart

150mm at the maximum is still not far enough apart for Land Rover PCD which is 5 x 165mm.You would need to remove too much material for my liking

Only problem I see with the wheel straps is what if you're jacking to change the wheel?

Then you are not supposed to be using a high lift jack! Base plate and a decent bottle jack under the axel much better for wheel changing and the like more compact too.
