Next friday i will drive for Bundy to Redcliffe to replace the leaking injestion pump on the Defe.
How far is the Land Rover mechanic for the coast? Can I walk there?
It is there a good spot for photography?
is going to be a long day and a bit of a problem driving 400km with a leaking pump :(

It's only about 15 minutes walk, but I'd be happy to pick you up and show you around ;) (if the wife hasn't got me doing other chores!).

G'day Chucaro :)
You going down to MR Autos ? if so the coastline is about 1.5-2 klms from there, along Anzac ave., there is a regular bus run that passes the door, that will take you, not sure about where the stop is in relation to MR's but Dwyane will tell you :)
There is also a very large shopping centre "Kippering" about 3/4klm before MR's it has a lot of shops large food court and movie complex ;)

Thank you guys for the reply, I hope to be there with my wife about 8.30 am if the Defe reach destination.
The leak is getting bad but because I believe that is on the body and not the shaft should last the 400km trip.
If the weather is good we will go to the coast, it is much cheaper than the shops :D

G'day Justinc :)
Yeah! I see them every now and again, as I get parts for the Rangie from there, sometimes cheaper than British Off Road ;) will be booking it in, to get the rear suspension bushes done shortly,as I havn't got the gear to do them and I am not yet fit enought to do a lot yet, still using the walking stick :( but I will get fit again, I hope ;)
I can remember when Dwayne was skinny :D that was way back when they were in the old place closer to Redcliffe Peninsula

Somehow Dwayne always sounds tall and skinny on the phone:p:wasntme:
Never met any of them in person yet, its always the way years of dealing with suppliers and reps on the phone, and don't you get a surprise when you finally meet them:o
Nice and very helpful fellows that lot, hope to get up that way and drop in on them one day.
