Hi,
I am a new member.
I am looking to purchase a new Defender 130 Single Cab Chassis. Any comments - good or bad - would be appreciated.
Thanks

G'day,
Welcome to the forum.
Have you owned Land Rovers before ? Are you looking for a particular model....Tdi, Td5.
If you need a big tray, you will find the 130 to be a reliable and practical truck.

Cheers, Murray

Hi,
very happy with mine, had it 12 months now and use it to carry a slide-on camper.
Unladen the suspension is a bit stiff, so I drop tyre pressure to 30+ psi, but with the camper on it needs 60+ psi.
Cab is a bit cramped after driving a Dyna single cab, but I can live with that.
Have fitted an ARB bar and snorkel, dual battery in the camper is charged via one of drivesafe's little units.
Bought but not fitted yet is an Engine Saver and a Defender headlight/spotlight wiring loom to protect the stalk switches and get better voltage to the lamps.
The spare is under the tray, I put longer mirror arms on to see past the camper, and will eventually rebuild the tray to have a long drawer underneath.
cheers
