Prodigy brake controller failure?

I've been running a prodigy brake controller without any problems for about a year now. I recently had an alternator failure and after having the alternator replaced the brake controller has not worked at all? I have checked what appear to be the obvious areas of fuses, connections at the seven pin plug but still no joy?

Has anyone had any similar issues with their prodigy or any ideas as to what might be the problem?

I had a brand new one sitting in its box for about a year, went to install it and it didn't work:(, problem is i can't remember where i bought it from:mad:
