Hi all,
My UHF antenna cable got cut.
Is it possible to create a joiner for the antenna cable or do I need to run it from the UHF radio again.
For clarification this is the cable that runs from the UHF radio to the UHF antenna.

This happened to mine, I crimped an BNC connector on each end and then joined them with a BNC barrel connector. Has worked perfectly for years!

Hi
Now for the best result, a new low loss cable is the way to go.
But I have joined cables with male / female BNC connectors, ( about 1dB loss at the joint ).
I hope that helps you.

Thanks fella's, your advice is much appreciated.
Not too worried about the signal strength - as long as I have a working in-car UHF!
