I stumbled across this the other night and found it to be a neat little blog, tracking a Brit couple preparing their L322 for an Africa trip. Their assessment of the wagon at altitude is especially interesting... So are the pictures of a beautiful machine in the red dirt! [thumbsupbig]

Bloody brilliant! and people think I'm nuts planning a trip up to the Cape in my RR.. Can't beat going in style :cool:

Don't know if these are the same folks but there have been a series of articles in one of LR mags in the UK about just such a venture.
Can't find my copy at the moment or I'd be more specific.
I travelled through the Flinders Ranges and parts north in October last year and had not a moment of bother from "Basil".
It's the only way to see our vast land IMHO.
