does anyone elses disco one passenger side windscreen wiper block the washer jets in the downward most position or do I need to adjust mine better? and
I just got back from a trip from tom price to perth and back, was getting 850kms from a tank of diesel on the way down, filled up at the peak servo in mundaring in the morning for the drive home, started off and the old girl was really down on power, only got 602kms from a full tank, filled up in meekatharra from a shell station and got 850km from a full tank again... any ideas?

That's a fair bit of difference in consumption and strange that it only occurred on one tank full - was it absolutely full or at least filled to the same level each time?
Other factors that come to mind are speed, load, weather (head winds etc) and fuel brand. All can have an effect on consumption and if combined would add up to noticably poor results.

If it was down on power as well on the second half of the trip I'd be thinking the fuel was a bit dodgy, although this is probably a bit unlikely.

If it was peak in mundaring they have had a couple of vehicles in the last couple of months pick up a bit of bad diesel not as bad as the peak in sawyers valley were people were filling up with pretty much tanks of water also it has rained quite hard up here and the tanker was filling up there when it was raining the other day on my way to work.

My windscreen washer jets get blocked by the wiper at the bottom of their stroke too.
Can't test it though as it has been a while since I've had a washer bottle.
