Just got a call from the dealer, during service following my trip north they have found the stop light (high mount) does not work. They have found a fault in the glass and have had to fit a new rear window. I am thinking if this is common when its out of warrenty two wires will be fitted to the inside trim. Has anyone here had this fault or is it Kimberley road tole.

Hey Allan,

The Stealers replaced mine about a month ago. Not sure how long it was out but they noticed it. Same storey replaced the whole glass...

It was suggested by somebody on the forum that a fix is to run the two wires externally from the connection on the door frame to the stop light.

I haven't had a look at this option but it sounds good.

I bet the new rear glass is wasn’t cheap.

Cheers

If it goes again when its out of warrenty the two wire fix will be my attempt. I dont have it back yet, hope they replaced the tint.

Hey Allan,

The Stealers replaced my tint, without even asking.

Cheers
