Silblades

Hi all,

The worst part on the Defender are the toy windscreen wipers. But if that is my only complaint I can easilly live with that to own one! :)

I need new wiper blades and have been doing some research and come up with 2 ways to go:

1. Silblades
2. Landrover Original or some from Supercheap, Repco etc and get some Rainx

Does anyone know if Silblades are available for purchase in Australia?

I can get them from USA direct from the manufacturer or from Mudstuff in the UK. Anywhere else?

Pricing delivered to my house is $62.55 AUD from Mudstuff. From Silblades direct, the shipping is a killer and would be twice this price!

Anyone got Silblades on their Defender? Anyone tried Rainx?

rainX works well, but needs re-applying every year or so.....

what is your problem with the existing wipers? short life span?
