I have a fault on my Td5 come up on my nanocom. 03 - 07 air flow circuit current. Having looked around this apparently may translate to "moisture in airflow inlet /dirty".
Now I think I've had this since I got the vehicle but kind hard to tell since I didn't have a nanocom back then. Can't say I have a performance issue to speak of but these things can sort of creep up on you. I recently changed (upgraded) all the air hoses, they had slight oil in them but not much - just a film.
Question is, where to start with sorting this it out. Anyone had similar fault and done something to sort it out? My first thought would naturally be dirty sensors (where / which?) give them a clean and see where it takes me.
Could it be more serious - is my intercooler half full of oil?!?
What I did notice from the nanocom is I get much higher air inlet temps than I thought I should be getting (not that I know what I should be getting) but they were around 27 to 29 deg. Today ambient temp couldn't have been much over 14.
Any help / advice gladly received.
Ian.
