My new 130 rocks into Perth on the 20th,getting licenced on the 21st then into Life style 4x4 to start kitting out.
Then drive back home to Tom Price pack him up then up the Gibb river road for a few weeks.

If any one will be up the Gibb in August let me know, the Kulumbaru rd is suppose to be closed due to the late rains if it is we will just shoot up to Cape leveque on the way home.

What a way to run a new car in.:D

good on you, may as well use it for what is was built for.
What back did you choose, did you stray from classic white.
Now if you drive it through water like the old one, make sure you get pics.

Hi Jas

Yes we went with the white,we did have the choise of the grey but we decided the white hides the bush stripes a little better.
We ended up with the tub body for now,see what happens down the track.
Cant wait.

Ahh the classic white, good call. A set of genuine rubber mats goes nicely as well. Disgustingly priced but they fit and work well.
before you go though, spend and hour, preferably at the dealer just checking things out. It will most likely be fine, but I found one of the inner springs on the rear was not seated properly, and metal sworf around all the pillars.
I think LR work on the car sells itself, and Defer drivers are easier going than most.

Full of envy for your run in trip! The tub on my 110 has turned out to be pain in the bum I must admit..very little usable space and will soon be a tray. Be interested in how you find yours...admitedly it is a bit bigger!
