:)I came across this US publication the other day,on vehicle recovery methods, nothing new in it but some on this forum may benifit from the info in it.

handy for going any direction. I tried it when a sideways slide put the front on a tree and clay slip on the slope to my rear was not working. Winch on the front was not a lot of help. The jack was slow but got me off with only a bit of time used.
