Hi all,

Since I bought my Puma two years ago new, I have the issue, that the rear passenger door seals are coming loose after a while. They get caught by the opening door and are then pulled from their place in height of the door catch. LR Oz replaced the seals a couple of times under warranty. The car was not modified at that time. In the meantime I mounted some side rail protectors in place of the standard sill panels under the doors.
Now LR Oz claims, that the door seals issue is caused by the sider rails and they replace the seals one last time as a guesture of Goodwill. From now one they take the door seals out of warranty for my car. That is a strange call, as the issue rehapppend also without the protectors installed and the original sill pannels in place.

Does anyone else has issues with the rear door seals coming loose and pulled off by the door? To me it seems more like a not proper alligned door, the gap is to small between the door catch screw heads and the seal and an issue with the edge (too small), where the seal is pressed on. It is worse on the LHS, then the RHS.

I never had an issue with this door seals on other Defenders I owned before from new. Any ideas or similar experiences?

Regards
Matt
