In the last three days I have lost the ability to use the buttons/insert icon etc within the edit window using Firefox. Similarly I have lost the ability to expand images on ebay.
Its not a problem when I revert to Internet Explorer.
Mozilla 5.0 Windows 6.0 Firefox 3.6.18
Whats the problem.

It might also be time to update your Firefox as the current version is 5.0.
I seem to recall Adobe wanting to do heaps of updates a while back. It seemed like every time I turned the PC on it wanted to run an update for Adobe.

I installed the latest Java version and uninstalled the previous versions and everything seems O.K. again.
Thanks everyone. :)

Back to the same symptoms, tried updating microsoft stuff, nothing, updated java, nothing, tried changing to Google Chrome but all it does is open a firefox window in chrome with same symptoms.
Also on the RFI antenna site the following command doesn't work (extra spaces added <a & /a>) < a id="slideForward" class="slideButton">></a >
Also when I elect "Quick Links" I no longer get the dropdown menu but a completely different menu bar?????
I hate computers! (I would add some sad face emoticons but have to type the code not click the icon) :BigCry:

My firefox was playing up about 3-4 weeks ago.
Downloaded Chrome and been on that ever since.:D
Its alot quicker and doesnt seem to suffer the eratic problems that I had with Firefox.
Still get the occasional sticky mouse problem tho.:(
Can anyone shed any light on why the mouse freezes every now and then.
Running windowzs 7 and the notebook is approx 9 months old.
cheers
