Hi all!

Ive just picked up a 95 110 two door defender for a song, complete with lots of fruit and 275k kms. So far so good, needs a little work to get it past a blue slip, but nothing a little of TLC cant fix.

So far i have identified that it needs the A frame ball joint? replaced, some rust repaired in the drivers footwell, fix some leaks ;) and replace all the water hoses and intercooler hosing (swollen and cracking). Also needing replacement are the blinkers, wipers and headlight switchs, they are all busted up. Im thinking i should look into getting the timein chain sorted as well, at least just to have a starting point to when it was done last.

It has what looks like brand new dobinsons 2" lift (guessing 2), TJM bull bar, scrubs bars and side steps (i love how solidly these sliders are mounted), spare wheel carrier, and a 3/4 roof rack with a solid, flat ally floor. looks to have been a second battery mounted in the rear.

I picked this up from a wholesaler in brisbane, and had it shipped down to syd, and im wondering if anyone knows of the previous owner, as someone has at one point shown this old bus some love.

Thanx,
Dan

Nice fender , rare beast . Try paddocks in the uk for the parts you need, or if you are in a rush or like supporting Aussie Gary at clr parts is very good to deal with

Nice unit Dan
I like the look of the older Defender so much more than the pretty new ones:wasntme:
The cheapest place for parts around here are British Motor Importers at Mulgrave, and Karcraft at Silverwater, usually a lot cheaper than the Ebay sellers.
