hey guys, just replaced the brake master cylinder on my series 2a 109 and after test driving, the brakes are dragging and it seems the brake fluid is not returning into the reservoir once the brake pedal has been released? all four brakes were real hot and the brake pedal barely moves now! the brake shoe adjustment was fine before the cylinder was changed and all wheel cylinders and brake shoes have been replaced? any help would be awesome

It sounds as though the brake shoes need readjusting, hot brakes, and dragging shoes are a possible sign of this. When you say there is no fluid returning to the resevoir, do you mean that the resevoir is empty? The fluid may be leaking from maladjusted brakes via a wheel cylinder--check the wheels for signs of fluid.
The pedal barely moving may also be a sign of maladjustment, i.e. the shoes are right against the drum--is the pedal hard?

Was this a new cylinder or one where you fitted a kit?
There is a possibility that one of the seals is fitted in reverse.

check in order.
shoes still wound out from bleeding, (wind the adjusting snails off completely.)
collapsed flex line, (crack all the bleed nipples one at a time)
no free play on the pedal adjustments (back of the pedal adjustment a couple of turns till you achieve 1/16-1/8" freeplay at the pushrod or roughly 1/2"at the top of the pedal rubber when measured vertically from the floor)

Thanks mate, the pushrod wasn't adjusted properly.
