Very nice.

A question on your Bull Bar that other myself and SVX Owners will want to know....

Your Bull Bar. It looks like the new style from ARB with the top chopped off?

Can you provide some details please. I quite like the look of what you have done although will be limiting if you have an animal strike I would think.

That 'Winch Bumper' part number 3932400 is in the Summer 2011 ARB magazine thing I have here, and is a seperate model to the 'Deluxe Winch Bar' p/n 3432300; Cost is $1118 for the bumper vs $1298 for the deluxe bar apparently.

Hi Nigel,

It is a Delux Bumper which i was told by ARB would fit the X-Tech, not so had to modify the mounting brackets(drop it by 30mm) and chop a section out were it fouled on the lights, Steve from Lifestyle 4x4 was the man who persisted with making it work and i think it ended up looking good thanks to him. i did'nt want to hide the front end behind bar work as it is a feature of the X-Tech so i thought this would be a good compromise.

Cheers

Andy.

I was talking to steve the saturday before he worked on yours and none of the normal bars fit.I'm getting the Goodwinch bar from the UK,either the bumper or the bikini mount.Andy,I've got a quote from Craddocks for genuine LR black seat covers for under $500 delivered to Newman that are for our seats,if your interested give me a shout. I wouldn't be so sure about that Pat. A nice lady let me drive her TD5 DEF in the LROCV trials a couple of weeks back and I was quite impressed.
Swapping the ring and pinions out for those out of a couple of Ozito 4'' angle grinders would be an upgrade though;)

I'm supprised you liked it,I take you as being more of a Isuzu/LT95/Sals type of guy.Totally agree on the diff's,only LR could make a new diff worse than all the previous types, they have got the springs and dampers right,I've given mine a blast over some corrigations and the control was very positive, the rebound control through dips is equal to the Koni's on my Tdi. Very nice! I'm pretty sure I spotted you driving through a car park on Beaufort Street Mt Lawley a week or two ago. I nearly drove the work car into a wall not looking where I was going. If I'd been in the Defender no way would you have been able to keep going without stopping to let me have a proper look.
