Hello ladles and gents do you know if defender capping will fit a 109 truck cab

And how about defender sill panels is 110 the same as 109

And what should I do about drilling out all the rivets and fitting new ones when I get the new capping sorted? As my tub capping stuffed

I haven't measured it up, but Defender capping should fit, although it is probably different in detail - the key body measurements are the same.
Sill panels, on the other hand, will not interchange as, despite the body dimensions being the same, because the axles are located further back as well as an inch further apart on the 110, plus the flares mean that the sill sections are shorter and have the end different where the flare goes.
Can't help with the rivetting - not sure what you are asking. I would cut the heads off the rivets with a sharp cold chisel and punch out the rivets, and replace using pop rivets not solid rivets, although I know this is not original.

I've recently drilled out all the pop-rivets and chiseled off all the solid rivets on a Series 1 tub & tailgate cappings etc. . It's a time consuming job but there isn't an alternative.
With the solid rivets once you've chiseled off the back they come out easily (drilling would be a lot more difficult). Drilling out the pop-rivets is straightforward as long as the drill doesn't wander.....
I'm with John, if there are any solid rivets I would replace with pop-rivets unless you are going to 'show' the car and want it 100%.
