Reinstallation help please

I have a HP laptop, it had windows XP installed, had virus so installed again XP, year later another virus reinstall Windows 7, now I only have a 100gig hard drive and after all the installations I now have less than 20gig free. My question, how do I start again with Windows 7?

Hi,
when installing XP you have the option of installing it on the existing partition, or creating a new partition.
If you made a new partition, your old installation will still be there just taking up space.

Insert the Win7 disk in the drive, bootup and choose the dvd drive.
You will be given options to delete, format and partition the drive.
