The alarm/horn is constantly going off on my 2004 TD5 110. Light on the dash is flashing fast. All I could do to stop it was pull the alarm fuse. I called the nearest stealer which is about 150 clicks away to find out what my EKA code is and was told that my vehicle did not have one on the LR system.
I was under the understanding they all had them. Am I wrong or the stealer?
Thanks.

If it has a 10AS alarm unit fitted with the two button fob it should have a EKA, certain diagnostics like the MSV2 can read the programmed EKA code in the Alarm settings page. I have a nanocom evolution as well but I'm not 100% sure this does it? Do you know anyone local with a msv2 or diagnostic gear? Easiest way to find out would be for the dealers to check with their diagnostics or to contact LR customer services UK direct with the vehicles VIN number as all Build sheets should be on record.
HTH Brian.
EDIT: Just been out and checked the nanocom evolution on my Puma and it definitely gives you the EKA code in the 10AS settings page.

This is the 10AS settings page in Vehicle Explorer for the BBS MSV2, and in the bottom left hand corner is the EKA CODE box and this will display the vehicles EKA code. I have not posted a live data pic for obvious reasons hence why every box is marked n/a.
