Hi everyone, recently (yesterday) had cylinder no.2 injector ****e itself. Started the car to head to work, 5mins downs the road and then gutless, running on 4 cyls. Removed the rocker cover and the injector spring has broken. Well...imploded!! 4pieces. Soooo, just wondering where i can get a new injector(green top) and nanocom (to programme trim code) from, apart from the usual independents / dealers etc. I'm doing the work my self so obviously looking at saving money. Any uk sites that are reputable and fair in anyones experience given the OZ dollar? Can get a new delphi injector from OS $290 + postage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Time is not a big deal as i have a second car to get me around.

Fishripple,

Gee last time I priced a TD5 injector it was $1,200+ each. Didn't know there was an alternative brand delphi @$290.

$636 OEM in Sydney.
Worth wait if you get it from OS @ $290.
Go to the diagnostics part of forum and pretty sure there are some Nano owners in Brissy that will help.

Thanks for the replies regarding the injectors. Yes it is true can get them cheaper from uk supplier? who'd of thought.:p Nothing against australian suppliers but when it's your own money, number one first. i actually managed to source a complete spring and plunger from Rover Care at slacks creek. (used but apparently pretty rare for them to go);) Cost was only $40 and had the head flushed, sump flushed, resealed the sump, set all injector heights and resealed the rocker by saturday night between work on saturday as well. had me worried in the beginning.....but nothing like giving back a bit of love, sweat blood n tears to the landy.
