I have just fitted a new swivel ball, bearings and seals to my 71 11A The housings came with a tube of grease (one shot). I am reluctant to use the grease, as the original rialko bush was dry and rusty from the use of free wheeling hubs (which I have now discarded) therefor oil was not being thrown around.
With the hubs gone this should not be an issue anymore, however the question is, would the grease throw around enough to lubricate the top swivel bush?
Are there any other advantages to using the grease?
Thanks for any advise.
Andy
