Please note this is not a true " how to " post, just a collection of photos and some interesting points I found when redoing my seats.
The real Tech info can be found on the Exmoore trim utube clips, something for the "rivit counters " out there.

The front seats in our 130 were not totally stuffed or covers ripped, however after 4 weeks in them last year a upgrade was agreed on.

I purchased 2 x seat base foams, 2 x seat back foams and 2 x inflatable lumbar suports from C _ _ _ _ _ ks UK. The total cost $ Aust 275.00 and took 9 days to get here.

As I stripped the seats down I was suprised at how easy it was and how little glue held the foams on to the frame. The differance between the new and old foams is easy to see, newer back foam has more / denser foam at the lumbar area.

Also found that on both seats the steel retaining pin for the seat covers had come loose and were floating around the void.http://www.aulro.com/afvb/attachment.php?attachmentid=38370&stc=1&d=1314269840

A example of an old foam back with a softer insert over the lumbar area.

With the foams off I just scraped of any residual , wiped clean with a cloth and measured up to instal the lumbar bag.
The co pilot and I both sat on a new base to take the measurement for the lumbar position . The old bases had colapsed and the lumbar measurement was 20mil lower with those.

To protect the lumbar bag I cut a section of heavy vinyl to place between the sprung seat back and inflatable bag.

Lumbar bag secured in place, I placed the inflation tube on the consoll side as there is more room to exit there and space for the bulb.

Left some slack in the void and secured with a small cable tie.
When I glued the foams on ( useing spray on adhesive @ $11 a can) I dident cover as mutch surface as the bloke on the utube vid. I just recoated the same surfaces as the factory had.

This is the stuff I used, more than plenty for two seats. Sprayed on to the seat frame, sprayed on to the foam in corresponding spots and left till tacky ( about one stubby).
Warning, this stuff gripps right away when the two sprayed surfaces come into contact, so dont dither when placing the foam.

Each seat took an hour to do and that includes unbolting it from the cab. The original covers were in good nick and not replaced. Take some care when sliding over the new foam as there are spots where they may rip as the new backs are wider.
The bases are simple to redo after watching the utube clip.
Refoamed seat frame with old base foam to compaire with.

The finished seat with lumbar suport, the inflation tube needs to be cut back to size once back in the cab and co pilot consulted " most important".

The seats do have that new car feel and the lumbar suport works well , adding that little extra comfort.
Awsom value for less than $300 , 1 out of 5 for diffuclty.
