Lately I have been ringing around TRYING to get a custom tent made for our camper. No big deal you would think????

Nearly every one I call ends this way.

Me
Gday I would like a custom tent made to xx....xxxx size pls.

Them
Why do you want it that size!!!!!!!!

Now the first couple I explained what I was doing.
The company I called today got
" because thats what I f...in want! "

What part of "Custom Canvas Work" dont these idiots understand, after all its part of their advertising. I know the Government is totally screwing Aussie manufacturing, but half of these numbnuts are doing it themselves.

WTF I just want someone to say " no worries mate it will cost you $$$ "

Have you tried Clarkes Canvas in Nerang.

Not sure on exactly what you are after but I spoke to Mr Swagman about modifying their rootop tent to my specs to go on the top of a tradsman style trailer for camping with no worries.

I was after a different size and contoured walls and different hight for the annex to match the contours of the trailer.

They are not local though, but may be able to point you in the right direction.

I just got my caravan tarps made by "The Canvas Place" at 355 MacDonnell st Clontarf.32843212.
I'm very happy with the result.
one tarp 5mtr x 2mtr and one 3mtr x 2mt.With sail track.
$500 not cheap but on time and very good.
They made some suggestions and the result was great.
