Hi there,

Is anyone else having trouble getting a Safari snorkel for their Puma Defender ?

I've had one on order (through my local Opposite Lock dealer) since before ERII's birthday but no joy.

I took the law into my own hands and rang Safari several weeks ago wondering if there was a world wide shortage or if the boat carrying them to Australia had sunk, only to be told they are made in Australia and they'll get round to making some...

Will ring again on Fri 2 Sep to offer advice and/or ultimatums.

Safari ph 03 9761 7244 in case you are in the same boat.

Cheers,

Iglooist

Unfortunately true... Any one of the UK dealers will get it to your door for a lot cheaper and two to three times faster than the local guys.

I got the transfer case guard for the Puma from Devon 4x4 (who also do Safari Snorkels) at less than half the price and delivered in 5 days.

I ordered a Puma fuel filter replacement hand pump gadget from over East and it was delivered 22 days later. I even paid premium for express delivery and it weighs under 200 grams!

Yeah i had a bit of a wait as well before I got mine. A bit over 2 months.

Must be the recent rain and all those full creeks :-)
