Question: How much would anyone pay for the genuine P38 rubber bull bar without the wrap around section 2nd hand??

Then how much would you personally pay for one??

Watch E-Bay you may find some bargains. I bought a new factory bar with wrap around for my L322 for $630 including postage from Britpats in England.

Good question... I have a pair and will only end up using one! Was just gonna ebay the spare when I get round to fitting one of them. Interested to know what people think they are worth though...

I got one for A$100 from a Perth wreckers yard via ebay. One side was badly bent. I removed both side sections and fitted the centre A section only, covering the side holes with black silicone.

The reason i'm asking this question is that i recently bought the A section along with a unused spare wheel for $200 of someone wrecking his P38. He told me when i got there that he was offered up to $600 for the bull bar alone some 5 minutes after getting of the phone with me. I kinda said to him that if he'd ask me to pay that amount, i wouldn't have bought it. I spoke to him again yesterday and told me again that a wrecker offered him about $1000 for it, i told him that the wrecker's pulling his leg and wouldn't pay up if the deal came to the crunch, hence is the reason why many Landy enthusiast don't buy from wreckers locally unless their desperate for the part as it is cheaper to buy from overseas.
