hey guys, yes I'm going north to the land of the big fat wallet. Leaving early next wednesday morning 21st to spend a long couple of weeks in Mackay then back to Rockhampton for a few days......this is doing induction and entry requirements for a myriad of minesites I will be visiting in the course of my new job. When thats all done, 1st/2nd week of October I move to Emerald, and the fun begins. Might spend a bit of free time fossicking.
The time I've spent with you guys in the Gold Coast Land Rover Club has been great. I've never spent time with a group of differing personalities so amicable and friendly as this club has and have enjoyed every minute of being with you all. This is not a final farewell by any means, but just means I wont be around as much. I'm still going to annoy the **** out of you all on the forum and if I'm back down to co-incide with a monthly meeting I'll be there.
If anyone is heading up Emerald way when I've settled there'll be a coopers of some sort on the table.
If anyone knows some good drives from there I'd love to know.

I'll be working with NQ Cranes on whatever minesite/ shed we service. Apparently anything within about 200k of Emerald. If youve got o'head cranes probably see you there somewhere.
