I went to Albany to put my new toy in the water, forecast was no good so had to stay in close.
It will be unforgetable for me,to finally own a boat and also get a 5m white pointer come and have a look see,and a little taste test of the prop.
I got no decent fish from 2 days out,Bblaze got his first KG Whiting catch and Flounder catch from my boat.
A few pics from the weekend.

Nice one Andy.
Owning a boat is like having two wives they love your wallet but you cant live with out them.
Good to see you out on the water mate.
The first few times you take it out its more about getting use to the way it rides and learning to trust it.
The fish will come once the honeymoon is over.:p:p:p

Looks like great fun Andy!

I just got my boat over to the west coast. So far it has done 5000 km on road and about 2 hrs in the water!!! I need to rectify that after I have done some fitting out. I need to get 20 hrs up so I can get the first service done on the motor!

The rules:cool: Remember the rules:p

Would I be correct in saying a photo of the said boat will be posted in the appropriate thread:D

I did notice you need 20 hours up for the first service - other than the E-Tec I thought the first service came after 10 hours on all the major outboard brands - obviously I am wrong but what engine do you have?

Pics will be posted as soon as I:
(a) finish unpacking the boat
(b) wash off 5000 km of road grime and evidence of slight oil leaks from the 110 (I call it trailer rustproofing!).

Motor is a Yamaha F70A. The dealer told me 20 hrs, but I haven't had a chance to check what the manual says yet.

Classic, absolutely classic:D:D

Yammie F70A. I have yet to hear a bad word about that model, in fact, any Yammie. It will be interesting to have your opinion once you put a few hours onto it.

Sounds like a great idea!

Maybe we can have an informal WAULRO fishing comp :D

The beach/ocean south of cocklebiddy would be a good place ;)
