Hi All

We took the D4 out for a bit of a run yesterday. The Aux tank was empty showing red on the indicator. The main tank was full.

The day got a bit hot yesterday and I noticed the aux tank indicator was green not only the first one but the second as well? The main was down a little so I pumped the fuel back into the main.

Has anyone else with a Long Ranger noticed that the fuel moves from the main back to the aux on a hot day?

Not on a hot day but I can see how it might run back into the other tank on a steep climb.
The filler isnt that much higher than the main tank, diesel could easily run back up the filer hose into the junction below the cap and end up in the aux tank. Solution - Just pump back into the main when on level ground.
