As the title indicates, are these desirable, especially if it still has the original 1.6 litre Rover engine?

'spose it all depends,
*- on condition,
running/complete/damaged etc?
*- on who's looking!
They are not hugely valuable but if someone wants one then I 'spose its up to them as to what theyll pay!.
post up some photos! (we generally wont price something on the net!)
and yes, an original motor is always an asset to any car..
(I reckon they look great, all the 80's and the slab sided s1's! - get it and live the dream!! only one thing beats 'em GUNBUGGIES :) :) :) )
cheers

Hi Ron
If it is a 52 model, it should have a 2 litre 'siamese bore' engine fitted .
