I am having all sorts of drama getting the drivers window replaced on an my10 D90. I have had windows O'Brien out three times, been to their workshop once and been on the phone with Austral LR trying to get the correct window replacement with no luck. Austral keep providing a window with the lugs that are fitted too close together, thus the scissor mechanism that attaches to the servo can't be attached in two places. Neither Austral or O'Briens can figure out why the glass which matches the VIN number for replacement glass has the incorrect lug placement. Has anyone had the same problem? I feel like I am going to need to figure this out for myself as O'Briens and Austral seem to be putting this in their respective X-Files.

Note: Glass broken by rat bag trying to steal a coin jar. Hit the door panel twice with their two first missed attempts to hit the window. $1300 damage for $30 worth of coins. Almost caught them too. They were driving a Toyota, phfft figures!

Sorry to hear about the damage...

Are you going through insurance? If so let them deal with the stealers to source you a new one. You'll struggle to find proper Pilkington as well locally, so UK might be an option if it's insurance.
