My wife and I are beginning to contemplate a UK to Capetown journey sometime in March or April next year, the route yet to be determined, as well as the length of time. We are driving a Defender 110, with a roof top tent. We would be interested if anyone out there is interested in joining us, both from a security point of view as well as the obvious support more than one vehicle provides???

We have been travelling now for about 11 months througout South America and are now working our way up Central America.

Hey Carlos,

We are leaving for Cape York in late July 2012 from the NSW Central Coast,

If that approximate time suits you, you guys would more than welcome to join us.

We have about 6 vehicle at the moment but some will no doubt drop out as the time gets closer, but the Missus and I are a certainty.

Cheers

Hi Drover

I'm not quite sure, but I think one of us may have missed the plot and while we would love to join you, not having been that way for a long time. We hope to be grinding our way south through Africa about that time.
