I have a 130 single cab with a canvas cover on the tray with dirty plastic windows i can't see through so i fitted a reversing camera that replaced the rear vision mirror and is on when the ignition is on. With the side mirrors that also have fisheye mirrors attached i now have 360 degrees vision.

I have a 7" screen in my Defender with GPS, reverse camera, Bluetooth, music and ebook storage.
The reverse camera is very good and I installed it above the reverse light.

I bought it in ebay about a year ago for $ 240.00
Now there are new models (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/7-GPS-HD-Car-Navigation-Wireless-Reverse-Camera-4GB-/350384036671)s for $140.00
Software and maps are very good and up to date (back then)
Ask here in the GPS section for recomendation of new models.
Cheers

I fitted a reversing camera to mine a while back. The screen is built into the mirror.

It's unusable during the day. There is far too much light flooding in through the windows and, as a result, the video image cannot be made out. To make it worse, when in reverse there is just enough backlighting to make the mirror useless during the day, too.

I'll soon be pulling the mirror/screen out and doing something else.

Thanks Chucaro Had been looking at that one anyway just wasn't game to take the plunge. Good to hear that you are happy with your's. Also see that they are up to 5 generation. Think I need 7" screen as the eye's are what they use to be.
