I spent a weekend a few years ago in Nova Scotia at a Labour Day Rally with a bunch of guys from The Maritime Organisation of Rover Enthusiasts (M.O.R.E.) and met the guy (Peter Knowles) in the video.
The M.O.R.E. mob were a very welcoming, friendly, enthusiastic, fun loving group - a nicer bunch of Rover tragics I haven't met before or since.

A friend who was travelling there exactly a year after my visit was also able to join them for the Labour Day Weekend and was also welcomed and enjoyed himself immensly.

Following are a few 'graphs I captured while at the rally.

The smoke in this shot of Peter's 109 ute is not from smoking the tyres but was caused by some loose gear shorting the battery terminals out. You'll recognise Peter in the right of picture - not overly concerned as offending gear had been removed from battery and he was just waiting for the smoke to clear. :o

Some well equipped Landies to cope with the muddy conditions.

The campsite, where gumboots were an essential bit of equipment as you walked around in at least 6" of mud. A number of vehicles were bogged in the camp area and most of the vans could not be moved for a number of weeks.
The recent (2011) Expo at Castle Hill would only be considered as a light shower by these guys. :D

More photos in my Gallery but you should also have a look at the U-tube series that Dave produced titled '88 In a Day' where, as the title says, they built an 88 in a day for a young guy whose interest in Landys had just begun.
