I had a great weekend I picked up my TD5 last weekend and had a great drive to Mudgee, with off road driving and water crossing at Paynes gap, Hargraves to Arrons pass, Dunns swamp, etc. Excellent weekend, Henry returned 8.94 L per hundred K's. Even the wife had a great time. What a vehicle, Now for some real off roading. :D Forgot to take some photos some hope to get some next time

Allan,

Glad you enjoyed yourself mate. I had my first off-road experience in my first Defender just the other weekend and cannot wait to get back out there.

I hope you have years more fun to come in Henry!

it's infectious isn't it? hhahahaa good to hear you had fun guys. BTW, if Mark (isuzutoo-eh) is on a trip with you, he'll teach you a thing or two about how hard Defs can go.

hi greyfox,

when where you in Dunns swamp? we were there on the weekend as well - the red 130. I am guessing that was you in the other defender that arrived just as we left.

that was our first trip to dunns swamp but we will go back when the weather warms up a bit. we are in canberra so a bit of a hike for a normal weekend.

you arrived at the right time - we spent two nights there and it was pretty busy. I think the rain the night before sent more people packing though.
