Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately I have to announce the suspension of operations for LSD. Due to one of Simon's relatives contacting the bank about his death without my knowledge I now have zero access to the business account, so I can not check transaction history to confirm deposits. I work at the bank as well as running LSD so I'm some what....annoyed ;)

I am in the process of investigating options available to me. But at this stage we (well, me since I'm the only LSD person left!) will be on permanent holiday.
I do have a lot of stock that I will be selling off but without an account it is difficult!

The order from the UK came through last week, delivered Friday, and I have started splitting it ready for dispatch. I know some of you are yet to pay, we will work something out. For those who have paid please be patient with me. Now that the legal fun has begun I have to tread carefully with what I do as technically all the stock is part of his estate.

Please feel free to email me with things you need but we are probably not the best option for anything urgent at this stage unless you're local.
Orders from the UK and US are suspended until I have an account and authority to trade.

Thanks again for your understanding, you have all been so wonderful during this process, I can not thank you enough.

Sarah

Isn't the stuff order and paid for the property of the person who's paid for it in the same way that stuff purchased on account technically isn't the property of the buyer until the account is paid?

And relatives are wonderful yes, have they stopped the account so any attempted transactions are bounced back?

Yes, you're right. But, until it's dispatched it remains the property and liability of LSD...and LSD is Simon. Otherwise everyone would have to wade their own way through customs and quarrantine :p Or if we were broken into and pre-purchased goods were stolen we'd shrug our shoulders and say it was paid for, not our problem. The main issue at the moment is disposing of his assets becomes a legal process. If someone has paid for freight, I can't get the money out of the account to actually freight the order etc. The account will still accept funds, but I can't see it. So someone can put a million dollars in and I'd not have a clue. (these are just examples, if you've paid for freight don't stress, I had the foresight to get your money out and there is no problem, I just meant in an ongoing capacity)

I don't want anyone worrying, orders will still be filled. I just need to make sure that I'm covered (eg. copies of invoices and deposits and postage receipts being compiled). The situation is a little complicated and I'm trying to avoid getting into the nitty gritty on a public forum ;)

I've just been alerted that some of my emails are not being received, and it may also be the case that not all emails are getting through. If anyone is waiting on me to respond please forward the email again. I'm so sorry, I had no intention not to respond. I've had successful communication with a number of you this week so I don't know exactly who it has affected

Sorry Sarah - only just seen this, and to a newby you guys have a reputation that precedes you. For what it's worth, if you can use some part time unqualified grunt help from a grumpy old anal and retired mere male (admin background) to give a boost, I'm on offer from mid to late November onwards.

In feel for you Sarah, once money is involved rellies seem to pop out of the wood work to try to claim stuff. I've seen it many times. It's disgusting how people act. I pray that Simon's will was up to date and you are well looked after. My father died in tragic circumstances, he never had a will , although mum was the only beneficiary of no estate, except a couple of dollars in the bank. The bank froze the account and she was left penniless for a while until she could claim a widow's pension.
I hope it all smooths out easily for you. My thoughts are with you.

There was no will...everything is frozen and will remain as such for a while. It's a hard situation

Unfortunatly for you Sarah this just goes to show that we all need a legal and current will. So for those that don't DO IT NOW.
Sarah hope things get sorted out quickly. But then I know how long winded the legal profession can be. I'm sure all your customers are understanding.
Good luck for the descions you make for you & your families future

Just a quick reminder as I've had numerous emails and PM attempts over the last few weeks...
LSD is not in operation as Simon passed away, didn't leave a will and I can't operate until I have the Supreme Court's go-ahead to do so. I can't import anything new or sell what is on hand. I can't see the bank account to see payments received nor can we purchase anything. The PM account for LSD on here is full because the account has reverted from vendor to non-subscriber and I need the existing messages for record purposes. I can't delete them, please email through
Once I have the ability to run the business I can resolve the PM issue and sell the stock on hand but LSD at this stage will not be returning to full operations.

Thanks for your understanding,

Sarah
