D3 Rear Lights

Anyone had to replace a rear light cluster?

LR dealer have given me a price of $650, which I think is ridiculous! ....found these online:

Nope ... but considering a local dealer wanted around $950 for a RAI I'm not surprised at the cost of a rear taillight assembly ... LR parts 'aint cheap ... check out the Disco3UK forum - lots of help on there re parts ... worth a try.

Are you only after one side? if so have you concidered a secondhand one so it matches your other side. Give TRS in adelaide a ring , $650 sounds like a lot of dosh :(.

I called TRS and Ian told me everyone seems to breaking the passenger side, so he only has drivers side in stock. He did say he'd get back to me, but hasn't as yet.

Isn't there one on ebay at the moment - remember seeing one a couple of days back.

Just had another look and can only find international sellers offering light guards or LED conversion sets. LED's might be the way to go as it seems I can get a pair of those shipped here for less than the price of 1 std replacements!?
