Have just ordered a nice long engine for a P38a customer. 5 litre rover stroker with some nice internals, forged pistons, flanged liners, steel crank etc etc so will report back about performance when fitted.

That sounds absolutely great JC. I would think that this engine [and car] has quite a few dollars being invested in it. hey - if the owner defaults payment then do I get first dibs on the fire sale....hehe.

It is actually a very nice vehicle, low km Autobiography. Owner loves it to bits, bought it new and wants more torque etc.

No chance of him selling it, I'm afraid:(

i have a trs 5.0l in mine. goes great but needs a custom radiator as the std one is not efficient enough to do the job, needs a piggy back computer aswell as the std 4.0l management has a heart attack, hence why mine is a garage ornament at the moment. have been quoted $1200-1800 by pwr for the radiator and will be roughly 1200 for a pigyback ecu plus install and tuning. good luck they are worth it.

Bugger of a job DIY ! but worth it

This engine is a TRS 5 litre, GEMS fitment. Will have new cats and engine pipes, with a 2.75" system cats back and resonator. The owner is after a torquey upgrade, not a full on road screamer so will be mild yet grunty. Should sound good too:twisted:

Updates when applicable:)
