I am after a Voltage regulator to throw into my Alternator. The Web shows I need Part No. 0-831-55 but I'm having trouble tracking down a supplier.
Any ideas?

There are going to be some difficulties in finding a replacement in Aust. When I rebuilt my original alternator ( 95 Disco) ( 100amp A127 with 3 cover bolts) I searched around for a regulator without result. It's because of the different style of regulator, even though it's a Bosch part. Sometime after 95, the A127 type alternator changed in design ( 4 cover bolts) and changed to a more standard regulator/diode set up.
Here's a link to a pic you can use

The regulator isn't listed as a separate LR part, and I can only suggest looking toward the UK or Italy ( Magnetti Marelli )
