Having a great day - got back to my poor parked rangie to find it had been bashed by a passing truck or someone who didn't do anything like leave their details or anything. Kensington is a dangerous place.
Just when I'd got her pristeen and humming as she should.
Only major damage is to the drivers side door mirror: it's taken the whole thing off, smashed to bits, left dangling by some wires.
Strangely electronics inside still make noises like they are working!
Anyhow - has anyone found a cheap(ish) way of replacing these, with the casing & glass, but not the motor part, or is it a question of going to the dealer & just forking out for a whole new one?

You may be able to get a good second hand complete mirror, I would give Winston a call at American and British 4WD, they wreck Range Rovers, Fcty 9/ 556 Geelong Rd, Brooklyn VIC (03) 9318 0366.
Just up the road from Kensington, never know your luck!
Hope that helps.

I'm guessing you mean Kengsington in Sydney?
Contact "andrew e" as he may have something available out Western Sydney way. Copy me on the PM or email to info@hardrange.com
What year and model? i.e. HSE has memory mirrors, 4.0 "pov pack" does not, as I found out the hard way when my passenger mirror met a tree ;) and I tried to put a HSE mirror on my "pov pack".
Cheers, Paul.
