Before i start pulling stuff apart to look for something I don't know i'm looking for I thought I'd ask for help to narrow the search. '99 def TD5. On the drive home on the weekend the dash electrics (speedo, fuel, temp, L&R indicator signals) went dead. The car starts and stops and there was no loss of power. Turning the ignition on and off does not resolve the problem. The engine and other warning lights on the dash work when turning the key to kicker her over. The headlights, brake lights, cig power socket and radio have power. The windscreen wipers work. I checked the battery terminals, tight. I figure it may be a fuse but in all honesty that's a guess more than insightful knowledge of electrics. If a fuse where is the fuse box?
Only one water crossing that made the bonnet (not deep, got the speed wrong into a hole). The electrics died a good 30 after that.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the help that is offered.
