Hi,

Does anybody know the part number of the side mirror ? Does it have a special bracket, or the standard (UK) defender bracket (with a round ball) holds it without problems ?

Any place in NSW to source a cheap pair ?

Thank you !

Danger of sounding like a broken record about import vs local... Any one of the UK suppliers will get it to you quicker and cheaper than local. (MTC 5083) GBP 9.95/ea (You should be able to order 2 and have them delivered for under $50.00)

Hi Loubrey,

These mirrors (like the ones I have) are not flat, so I can not get the blue slip for the defender...

Thank you, anyway !

The part numbers are:- MUC3707 and MUC 3708. (LHS and RHS) These are taken off the two boxes I have in my garage. The arms are the same for UK and ROW except you can order extended arms (WMIK and other military) Cheers Nino.

have a look here for types and styles

BRITPAT - ACCESSORY CATALOGUE - 5th edition (http://asp-gb.secure-zone.net/v2/indexPop.jsp?id=622/756/1975&lng=en)

In case the link doesn't work, its the mirror page from the brittpart online catalogue.

Hi,

Why are they different ? The ones I have can be interchanged...

The bodies are the same moulding but the attachment point brackets are "handed" so are not interchagable.
