Bonnet not unlatching on my D3

Hi all
Hope someone can help the other day went to lift bonnet and it would not unlatch is there anyway to manually get in and unlatch bonnet from outside I think the clips that secure the cable have let go any help would be great thanks

had same issue on my old '06 D3 - Dealer fixed it under warranty so cant help on a home remedy I'm afraid. Common fault I was told (two years ago)

hi all
took the car in for service was told the grill had to be destroyed to unlatch bonnet so $400.00 later i now can open my bonnet bye the way it was a $14.00 cable that let go
