AVGAS central coast or coffs harbour

Worth asking :)

I urgently need to get a hold of a supplier of Leaded Avgas in either Coffs or the Central coast, need two drums ASAP.

If anyone can help please let me know.

The last time I had this problem the local Airport fixed it.

As Pedro said, Coffs Airport Fuel Supplier may have drums or will fill yours. Sounds like this isnt for intended purpose, so would suggest you advise its use is for an ultralight on a property. Avgas is now standard 100 Low Lead.

I tried a couple of years ago, but no-one is able to stock it. The local airport tanker driver told me that he is only permitted to pump fuel into an aircraft and not a fuel drum. Do you know someone with a plane or ultralight?

In the end, my brother-in-law was able to get me a couple of drums of Shell race fuel (same stuff) but it was too late. They may still have it in stock - he works for a chain of motor bike shops.
Alternatively, try local bike shops in Coffs. Someone might be able to get some for you but it may not arrive soon enough.

You can buy 20L drums of Shell 100 race fuel from the Shell depot at Broadmeadows if you have an ANDRA licence.

Same deal with VP race fuel, other than that can't help.

From memory you now need a special licience to buy Avgas. For racing purposes ONLY. But that was a few years ago. Now even harder to buy.
