Is it possible to retro fit 3rd row seats to a 2010 TDCi and is there anyone in Perth area who would do it. I've seen them in South Africa complete with seat belts etc so its possible - just not sure whether the Australian variants will accommodate thehm and whether it would cause compliance/legal issues
Thanks

I've just removed a set from my '99 110, they must have been fitted by a previous owner as they were literally bolted through the rear mudguard, seat belt anchors as well, no way would that have passed engineering.
I'm in Kalgoorlie, if you organise freight, you can have them, no good to me with a drawer in there.

You should have them signed off by an engineer once they are installed and then get the seating capacity of the vehicle changed.
If you don't do this you may find your insurance is void.
I got extra seats installed in my Defender years ago (by the dealer selling me the vehicle) when I received the registration paperwork I questioned why it was still registered as a 5 seater rather than a 9 seater. The dealer ended up having to get an engineers report and resolving the issue. They claimed they had done this and VicRoads had lost the paperwork (quite possible knowing VicRoads) but I think they hadn't bothered to do it at all.

How did you go mate?
Want to do the same thing.

You commented it wouldn't have passed engineering.. ie: bolted into a aluminium panel and not sufficient strength for seat = belts in collision?
