Just wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect to pay for servicing a D3 at a LR Dealer. I know there are different levels of service depending on kms but whats an average expectation.

My next service will be at about 130k at Solitaire Adelaide. Should I start saving  It will be my first service since purchasing the vehicle.

Phone phobia ? ;) . Basic oil change is $600ish , anything more
and you could be looking down $900 barrels. Find an Indy , and you'll
get change from $350  .

Yep an (the?) Adelaide dealer charged me $540 for the minor oil and filter change in July this year. This is just the in-between 6-month service, not the 'A' or 'B' scheduled service.

I then took mine to an LR specialist at Lonsdale and was quite happy with them. They charged $1k for new brakes all-round - the dealer quoted $850 for rears only.

Hi Disco-driver,
I just had a 130k TDV6 service done at Triumph Rover spares at Lonsdale (Triumph Rover Spares - The World's Largest Land Rover Dismantler (http://www.triumphroverspares.com.au/)). Book service with fluids and filters, plus a loan car. Also had the trans fluid changed and steel pan and filter fitted. All up, @$950 for transmission service and $300 for 130K service. Not exact but not at home so don't have the receipt with me.
Dealt with Phil. Good service and seemed a good price.
Adrian.
