D4 Winch kit

A few people have stopped me (in the Flinders recently) to ask me re: the above - here is a photo if anyone is interested. Its a good bit of kit - only issue is I think it was rmp on this site who weighed all the pieces only to discover an ARB bar is not much different in weight....it comes with a cover too (not shown). I bought mine via Duckwoth Landrover in the UK - about half the cost of buying it here (when the $A was at its peak). LRA said (SA) they'd never fitted one and didnt know how / wouldnt do it so I got Sovereign Autos in Adelaide to fit it.

A fair few of the D4's at the LRE centres back home are fitted with these. They do weigh a significant chunk it has to be said, mine's had to be taken off once by the dealer back home and they couldn't believe how heavy it was, am sure they mentioned over 100kgs but might be wrong.

no I think it was about 70kg - still alot - but I guess at least its not going anywhere!
